Worked on Izberg, a modular, API-first SaaS marketplace platform enabling enterprises to launch and manage B2B and B2C marketplaces.

• Led the migration of the product search infrastructure from a third-party SaaS provider to a self-hosted Elasticsearch cluster, designing index schema, ranking logic, and synonym pipelines for catalogs of ~100k products, significantly reducing recurring costs and gaining full control over relevance tuning.
• Developed and maintained core backend services in Django (monolith) and Flask (microservices) supporting catalog management, marketplace workflows, and API integrations.
• Contributed to platform stability and maintainability through clean service abstractions, backend optimization, and automated testing practices.

Prototyped internal AI tooling leveraging large language models for document understanding and knowledge retrieval.

• Built a retrieval-augmented chatbot (RAG) using FAISS and LangChain to answer questions over internal engineering and research documentation (PDF, DOCX, text).
• Implemented document chunking, embedding pipelines, multi-document retrieval, and source citation mechanisms.
• Integrated Azure OpenAI and experimented with open-source LLMs (Falcon, LLaMA) for response generation.
